ROSA PARKS

Rosa Parks was borne in Alabama in 1913, as a child she suffered the injustices
and mistreatments of the Apartheid. Let´s don’t forget that there were 148
Apartheid laws. One of the laws banned the buses to pick up black students, so
Rosa had to walk to school every day, another law made black people give up
their seats in case a white person needed it.
So on December 1st 1955 she was going back home from work
with other three black people she was told to give up her seat to a white male
passenger to which she refused and as a
consequence she was arrested. On
December 5th 1955 she was sued and found guilty, she was fined
$14.00 (dollars).
She has become a role model because of her courage, self respect, and
determination to fight for her right as a human being and as a citizen. We
can’t forget the brave and courageous people who fought in the midst of so much
tribulation and injustices, we have to remember how incredibly brave were these
people by standing for their rights even risking their lives and how important
is the impact of their actions even these days. Let’s not forget the past so
this doesn’t happen again.
